As a Software Principal Engineer you will develop sophisticated systems and software aligned with customer business goals and needs, creating high‑quality solutions while guiding the technical direction of the team.

• Contribute to the design and architecture of high‑quality, complex systems and software/storage environments.
• Prepare, review, and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and storage systems.

• Solid Linux application programming experience; C++ is mandatory and Ubuntu experience is a plus.
• Firsthand, demonstrable experience with Linux system design, development, and debugging.
• Ability to convey basic Linux troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience with BASH or similar Linux shell environment.
• Debugging abilities using Linux debuggers such as gdb.

• Proficiency with commands that a Linux administrator or developer runs regularly.
• Some knowledge of Linux kernel drivers, including loading, listing modules, and debugging drivers.
• Familiarity with Linux system configuration files (e.g., networking, user permissions).
• 6 to 8 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.

The base salary range for this position is $185,000 to $240,000.
