Software Technician

Overview

The Software Technician would be responsible for partnering with the Digital Automotive RF sensor team that supports both hardware and software. This group is supported fully by the Radar Module technicians on Hardware side of the business, but they are needing to bring in someone that can operate on the Software side to do software diagnostics, maintain modules, install and burn images as well as install the software.

This role will continue to grow for a self-starter and could grow into a QA tester role for the right candidate. This role will require you to be fully onsite working hands-on with the teams to provide necessary support and collaboration!

• Install and burn images on embedded modules and install software as part of the software diagnostics and maintenance process.
• Operate on the Software side to support the Digital Automotive RF sensor team on hardware/software integration.
• Provide onsite hands-on support and collaboration with the teams.
• Grow with the role and potentially evolve into a QA tester position for the right candidate.

• Experience installing software on embedded systems
• Basic understanding of Linux
• 1+ year of experience programming with Raspberry Pi, C++, Java, Python or similar tools
• Understanding of testing and debugging embedded systems
• Passion for technology and growing with a startup
• Flexible with time and willingness to step up to partner with team to deliver on what needs to be done
• Experience testing and debugging software
• Experience working with Automotive Radar
