Salesforce Developer (Contract)

The HT Group is partnering with a technology company in Austin, Texas looking for a Salesforce Developer who is hands‑on, solution‑oriented, and passionate about building new Salesforce applications. This is a 6–9 month contract with the potential for extension or full‑time conversion
, supporting several high‑impact development initiatives during a period of significant business growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team where you'll focus on new application development—not legacy system maintenance
. Working alongside an in‑house Salesforce Architect, you'll own projects from development through deployment while helping deliver scalable business solutions that directly support company growth.

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce applications and features
• Build scalable solutions supporting key business initiatives, including Order‑to‑Cash processes
• Develop Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and custom integrations
• Partner with architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of new functionality
• Participate in code reviews and development best practices
• Support multiple concurrent development projects in a fast‑paced environment

• Professional experience developing custom Salesforce applications
• Strong hands‑on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs
• Experience building new Salesforce functionality rather than primarily administering existing environments
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical teams
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills
• Excellent time management and ownership of assigned projects

• Experience supporting Order‑to‑Cash or Sales Cloud business processes
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and deployment tools
• Exposure to Agile software development environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally

• 6–9 month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent hire
• Onsite in Austin, TX (5 days per week)
