Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET technologies.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in the development of microservice-based solutions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Integrate applications with third-party services and APIs.
• Assist in deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in cloud environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET Core

• Experience in developing REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience with dependency injection and middleware concepts.

• Understanding of Microservice Architecture principles.
• Experience in developing and consuming microservices.
• Knowledge of service communication patterns (REST, messaging, etc.).
• Basic understanding of API Gateway concepts.

• Experience with SQL Server

• Ability to write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database designs.
• Understanding of database performance tuning and indexing concepts.

• Basic understanding of Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with:
• Azure App Service
• Azure Storage
• Azure SQL Database
• Azure Functions
• Azure Key Vault
• Understanding of cloud deployment and hosting concepts.

• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• Exposure to authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth 2.0).
• Understanding of logging and monitoring tools.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms such as Redis.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in .NET application development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with cloud-native application development.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
