We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to support our Quality Center of Excellence (COE). This role will focus on designing scalable AWS cloud solutions, supporting cloud‑native application development, and driving engineering best practices across development teams. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical leader who can work independently, take ownership of initiatives, and leverage modern AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity.

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud solutions.
• Architect and support cloud‑native applications and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with development, Dev Ops, and QA teams to establish best practices and technical standards.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation).
• Support CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops automation.
• Evaluate and implement AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor, Git Hub Copilot, or similar technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Create architecture documentation and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Take ownership of projects and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.

• 10+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or solution architecture.
• Strong hands‑on experience designing and implementing AWS solutions.
• Experience developing applications hosted in AWS or other cloud environments.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, IAM, VPC, and Cloud Watch.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, or AWS CDK).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Agentic AI or AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor, Git Hub Copilot, or Amazon Q.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives from concept through implementation.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
• Experience with microservices, serverless architecture, and cloud modernization.
• Experience implementing engineering standards or supporting a Center of Excellence.
• Knowledge of modern software development best practices and Agile methodologies.
