SAP BTP Developer (RAP, CAP, ABAP)

Full time with KKINSUGI, deployed on contract to clients.
We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer with strong expertise in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), and ABAP to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in SAP BTP development and must have successfully delivered at least 12 end‑to‑end SAP BTP implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP BTP using RAP, CAP, and ABAP.
- Build and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services.
- Develop cloud‑native applications and extensions on SAP BTP.
- Integrate SAP and non‑SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, and OData services.
- Develop CDS Views, business services, workflows, and application extensions.
- Participate in solution design, technical architecture discussions, and code reviews.
- Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of SAP applications.
- 6+ years of SAP development experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience in:
- SAP BTP
- RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- ABAP on HANA
- CDS Views
- OData Services
- SAP Fiori/UI5
- Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, APIs, and cloud integrations.
- Understanding of SAP S/4
HANA architecture and extensibility concepts. - Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Dev Ops practices within SAP environments.
- Must have completed at least 12 SAP BTP implementation projects with hands‑on involvement in development, deployment, and go‑live activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- SAP BTP certification.
- Experience with SAP Build Apps, Build Process Automation, or SAP Integration Suite.
- Exposure to SAP Business AI, Joule, or Generative AI use cases within SAP ecosystem.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
