At Realtor, our technology team participates in the research and development of scalable applications, identifying new technologies and trends to enhance our products and business. We build innovative solutions to help customers in their buying, renting, and selling journeys by connecting them with real estate agents and partners. We provide tools to help agents manage listings, grow their business, and collaborate with teams across the organization.

We encourage experimentation, learning, and the use of AI tooling to accelerate development while applying critical judgment to verify AI-generated outputs for security, performance, and accuracy.

• Lead the design and delivery for the ambiguous/complex problem space in the squad.
• Provide guidance to teams on system architecture and design.
• Develop solutions that are high quality, scalable, and reliable.
• Work collaboratively in squads composed of Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and Engineers.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineers.
• Investigate and prototype technologies to introduce new innovations.
• Be self-directed, take initiative, and drive towards solutions with minimal guidance.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience contributing to system architecture and design.
• Experience with Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, Num Py, Pandas), React, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Experience with cloud systems (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of data platforms and pipelines (Snowflake and Airflow preferred).
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Interest in AI and ML with a willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies.
• Experience delivering high value to customers quickly with regular feedback and support.
