Overview

The Systems Development Engineer role at Amazon focuses on developing and delivering advanced technology systems for fulfillment operations. This position is part of the Technology Deployment - Systems Integration team, which aims to innovate and enhance the deployment process for new products. • Engage in the entire system development life cycle to deliver high-quality technology systems for fulfillment operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to innovate deployment processes for new products.
• Identify and synthesize customer feedback to drive continuous improvements.

• Experience programming with at least one modern language (e.g., C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, Power Shell, or Ruby).
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• 2+ years of control system experience including PLC/IPC-based controls design, development, implementation, and support.
• Experience with designs of complex, automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, or systems including robotics.
• Demonstrated understanding of lifecycle embedded systems development including hardware and software.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related STEM field.
• Operations Management/Distribution Center experience.
• Proven technical leadership for engineering projects or programs.
