Job Summary
UST is seeking a highly skilled Senior Rust Developer to support strategic technology initiatives for a leading global technology client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems programming, backend application development, cloud-native architectures, and performance optimization using Rust. The role involves designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions supporting enterprise platforms, cloud infrastructure, edge computing, platform engineering, automation, and next-generation technology initiatives.
The candidate will work closely with architects, product owners, Dev Ops teams, and global engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Rust.
Build highly scalable, low-latency, and resilient services for cloud and distributed environments. Should be strong technical hands-on coding skills.
Should be familiar with AI technologies, including Python and auto coding Tools Develop microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven applications.
Implement concurrent and asynchronous solutions using Rust best practices. Optimize application performance, memory efficiency, and system reliability. Collaborate with architects and product teams to define technical solutions and system designs. Integrate applications with cloud platforms, databases, messaging systems, and enterprise platforms.
Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and sprint planning activities.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. Ensure security, observability, scalability, and compliance requirements are met. Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
