People Soft Financials Technical Consultant (Contract)

Implement the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) version of People Soft Financials (9.2) and interface with CPA systems. Responsibilities include migrating data from 8.8 to 9.2 and implementing client‑specific modifications in 9.2.

• 5+ years programming experience with People Code, People Tools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL, and COBOL
• 4+ years People Soft Financials implementation and/or upgrade experience including software development of Accounts Payable and Purchasing modules
• 4+ years experience with Oracle
• 4+ years experience with Unix, Korn Shell, and data migration
• 1+ year experience developing in a People Soft 9.2 environment
• 1+ year experience developing reports with Crystal Reports and BI Publisher
• Four‑year college degree with a major in Computer Science or related degree
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

• 2+ years’ experience with projects and software development involving CAPPS Financials

• Perform analysis, programming services, system and report development and enhancements, interface development, and data migration in support of the CAPPS Financials 9.2 implementation
• Software development in People Code, People Tools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL, COBOL, and Oracle
• Communicate with effective, high quality writing skills and work well in a project team environment, with a polite, positive attitude and a focus on customer service
• Perform other reasonable services as necessary to ensure that the project can be successfully carried out
