Senior Application Developer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building web-based or SaaS products & solutions
• Proficient in C# and the .NET framework, or similar object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns, with the ability to apply these concepts effectively across languages and frameworks
• Experienced in building & maintaining a high load RESTful or GraphQL API
• Experienced in relational database technologies (MySQL, Postgres, MS SQL, etc.)
• Experienced in supporting high availability environments, with familiarity with monitoring & alerting systems
• Experienced in various software development philosophies & methodologies
• Experience leveraging AWS services and CI/CD is a strong plus
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus

• Owning the planning & implementation of new product features end-to-end
• Creating technical design documentation
• Working closely with Product and Engineering leads to clarify and vet requirements
• Contributing to architectural improvements that improve scalability and maintainability
• Reviewing pull requests and safeguarding code quality
• Collaborating with other engineering teams on large cross-functional features
• Mentoring teammates on code maintainability, security, and efficiency
• Proactively identifying technical problems and bottlenecks before they become critical
