for a long-term contract opportunity.

Location:
Austin, TX OR Southlake, TX (Hybrid 3 days per week required to work onsite)
Duration: 18 Months

Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with 7 years of hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, modern backend architectures.
- In addition, candidates must demonstrate experience using modern AI-powered developer productivity tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Amazon Q, or similar AI coding assistants to improve software development efficiency, code quality, problem-solving, and delivery speed.
- 8 years Java dev Used AI tools like Copilot, Claude Code etc for productivity enhancement
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience developing applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
AI evaluation -- They have designed a process so that they do not need to interview too many candidates - We need to submit profiles with AI assessment completed
