Our client, a fast-paced and growing logistics and delivery services company based in North Austin, is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation and operational activities from their corporate office. This is a highly visible, in-office role that requires strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a time-sensitive environment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining efficient routing, tracking deliveries, resolving service issues in real time, and providing clear communication across internal teams and external partners.
This is an in-office position that primarily works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, there will be rotating weeks that require night and weekend schedules. The role will always total 40 hours per week, and no overtime is offered. This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive compensation based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.
- Coordinate and monitor daily pickup and delivery schedules to ensure on-time service
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide real-time updates and resolve issues quickly
- Utilize logistics and dispatch software including Data Track, Key Software, and Accelerator to manage orders, routing, and tracking
- Optimize routes and driver assignments to maximize efficiency and meet service level agreements
- Track shipments from initiation through final delivery, ensuring accurate documentation and status updates
- Troubleshoot service disruptions and implement timely solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate data entry, reporting, and operational records
- Partner with leadership on process improvements and workflow optimization
- Ensure compliance with all company, customer, and regulatory security requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in third-party logistics (3PL), courier, final-mile, or transportation coordination
- Hands-on experience with Data Track, Key Software, and Accelerator (or similar dispatch/TMS platforms)
- Strong understanding of routing, load planning, and time-critical shipment management
- Ability to multitask and make quick, sound decisions in a high-volume operations environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general logistics technology systems - Active TSA clearance or a valid TWIC card (required)
- Flexibility to work rotating schedules that include occasional nights and weekends (while maintaining a 40-hour work week)
