The Manager, Operations will play a key role in the management, training, and development of staff and implementation of short‑ and long‑term strategic processes. The Manager will oversee all aspects of the operations staff—primarily the drivers, maintenance, and dispatch personnel—ensuring that daily operations and client needs are executed effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements. The position will be onsite daily at our Austin, Texas (North) location: 817 West Howard Lane, Austin, TX 78753.

• Oversight of drivers, dispatchers, and operations employees and their daily performance to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operation—including scheduling, expenditures, attendance, and discipline.
• Perform monthly safety meetings.
• Provide training, retraining, and updates to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct driver evaluations as required by contract, ADA, DOT, and FTA regulations.
• Communicate regularly with the client to maintain a positive, productive relationship and assist with updates, information, and system upgrades as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
• Monitor performance of direct reports and provide coaching and guidance.

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field.
• 4+ years of recent transit management experience within a large location (within the last 8 years).
• Experience working with senior citizens or persons with disabilities.
• Experience supervising hourly personnel in a passenger transportation environment.
• Experience training in both classroom and behind‑the‑wheel settings.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to understand and administer discipline.
• Knowledge of basic safety and training procedures.
• Map reading, two‑way radio communication, and driving experience preferably in a demand‑responsive service environment.
• Knowledge of ADA, DOT, and FTA regulations.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Regular attendance.
• Previous management experience in the paratransit or livery industries (preferred).

Salary Min: $95,000 Salary Max: $110,000. This range reflects the base salary pay based on current national market data and may vary according to location, skills, and experience.
