- Picking up orders from warehouses and verifying that they are in good condition and complete
- Planning optimal routes using GPS or other navigation tools
- Delivering orders to customers on assigned routes
- Maintaining an organized travel schedule and ensuring that deliveries are made on time
- Inspecting the delivery vehicle daily and reporting any malfunctions or damages. Cleaning interior and exterior of delivery van.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from the vehicle
- Communicating with customers in a professional manner and handling complaints or concerns
- Documenting each delivery by collecting signatures or confirmations on sales orders
- Adhering to traffic laws and always practicing safe driving
- Ensuring warehouse and office are organized and clean.
