Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for Logistics Specialists to join our Data Center team. This role will collaborate with software, hardware and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to deliver safety and security while providing capacity at low cost. Key Job Responsibilities- Review Data Center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand
- Handle incoming shipments, including unpacking boxes, performing checks and system updates to material tracking databases
- Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check‑out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers
- Keep accurate records of material movements
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities
- Operate Return Merchandise Authorization process and receive replacements
- Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick‑ups to and from various locations
- Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
- Adhere to strict safety standards and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work spaces
- Frequent lifting of materials and products, placing items in storage, managing parts in shelving and pallet locations, extracting and moving parts from site specific areas
Your day starts with a review of open tickets and priorities, making sure the right materials are in the right place to keep data center operations running smoothly. From there, you move between receiving incoming shipments, conducting inventory checks, and coordinating with internal teams to fulfill their hardware needs.
You work closely with external partners to plan and align on deliveries, keeping communication clear and timely. Accurate record‑keeping and maintaining organized, safe work spaces are part of the daily rhythm.
But this role goes beyond the physical. You will contribute to improvement initiatives, help build smarter processes, and support automation and AI‑driven solutions that make logistics operations faster and more reliable.
Basic Qualifications- Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- High school or equivalent
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Are 18 years of age or older
- This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
- Speak, write, and read fluently in German
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager
