About the Role

Our company is seeking independent medical delivery drivers to transport critical medical products over long distances. This is a 1099 contractor position best suited for drivers who enjoy the open road, have flexible availability, and own a qualifying vehicle.

This is not an hourly job - drivers are paid by the mile when transporting critical medical product. You'll be an essential part of a logistics network that ensures timely delivery of life‑saving medical equipment.

Compensation:

• $0.70–$1.00 per loaded mile
• (Rate depends on vehicle type - larger vehicles earn more)
• $20 flat rate for deliveries under 20 miles
• Additional compensation for wait time and deliveries occurring on a holiday
• Note: Only loaded miles are paid (not paid when driving empty)

Schedule:

• On‑Demand / As‑Needed (Not a fixed route or shift)
• Product runs can occur anytime between 7:00 AM – 2:00 AM
• Must be responsive and available when called upon
• Most deliveries are 40–250 miles one way

Requirements:

• Must live in or near Austin, TX
• Must use your own vehicle
• Minimum vehicle size accepted is a full‑size SUV or pickup truck with a camper shell, tailgate cover, or trailer required
• Cargo vans and larger vehicles are paid at a higher rate.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must own a reliable smartphone with text, call, and GPS capabilities
• Able to track miles and communicate via apps
