Responsible for providing training for new hires and tenured employees through various learning methods.

• Provides company, regulatory, carrier, or practical training for individuals or groups for new hires as well as tenured employees.
• Creates milestones to be achieved through training methods and creates training plans.
• Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations, and changes in training policies and procedures.
• Coordinates trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.
• Observes employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensures any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and Safety Manager.
• Maintains training rosters and records with trainees and complies with appropriate training recordkeeping requirements.

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months related operational experience preferred.
• WFS or Carrier Instructor Certification.
• Current qualification and experience on training subject or learning plan.
• Ability to analyze problems and systematically investigate the various components.
• Has a complete picture of the context and overview of the whole problem.

• Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Operate a computer and other office productivity machines such as a calculator, copy machine and printer.
• Walk short distances; reach above and/or below shoulder.
• Handle and grasp documents or office equipment.
• Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
• Lift/carry/move objects up to 10 pounds.
• Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
• Talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with applicable standards.
