CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

Pay

Our delivery drivers start at $27.81 during training. After training, drivers switch to a component pay based on mileage, stops, and cases that averages $32.00 per hour.

Monday – Saturday (4 or 5 day work weeks)

3 AM – 6 AM start times

Multiple full-time night shift schedules are available, including 5-day (2 days off) and 4-day (3 days off) work weeks.

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
• Unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
• Perform professional customer-service responsibilities to enhance client experience
• Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs of product repetitively during each shift
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops (10+ per shift)

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in food and/or beverage delivery industry
• Preference for ability to operate manual transmission; may be required in specific locations
• Ability to read and communicate in English, including conversation, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports and records
