Gas Driver - Austin TX

Nippon Sanso MATHESON is a leading supplier of industrial and specialty gases and gas‑handling equipment in the United States. We are looking for a CDL A Truck Driver in Austin, TX. Our Packaged Gas Drivers haul cylinders of compressed gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide and deliver primarily to hospitals, commercial food processors and various government agencies.

This CDL‑B Truck Driver position is mainly local, home daily. The work is clean, consistent year‑round with no downtime.

Starting pay is $29 hourly.

Working Monday – Friday from 6am – 4pm (OT available but not guaranteed).

• CDL Class B license and current DOT medical card
• Minimum 1 year of CDL Class B experience or 6 months of experience with certification from an accredited driving school
• Must be able to pass the road test
• Current Hazmat Endorsement (will consider candidates without Hazmat endorsement if obtained within 60 days of hire)
• No more than 1 traffic violation in last 2 years, no at‑fault accidents in the last 2 years and no DUI/DWI in last 5 years (1 per lifetime)
• Ability to pass DOT physical, DOT drug test and criminal background check
