We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be the critical link between our drivers, clients, and operations staff — ensuring that all scheduled routes and charter services run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Dispatching
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers to routes and charters based on client needs and service schedules.
- Provide drivers with detailed work orders and clear instructions for successful assignment completion.
- Track driver hours and create balanced schedules to ensure fair distribution of work.
- Communication and Support
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all route details, schedule changes, and special service instructions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, supervisors, and clients regarding schedules, adjustments, and operational procedures.
- Respond quickly and effectively to last-minute changes, service disruptions, and client needs.
- Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports.
- Analyze schedule performance and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support operations with customer service follow-up, complaint resolution, and client satisfaction efforts.
- Teamwork and Leadership
- Be a positive team player who is willing to step into leadership roles when needed.
- Build strong relationships with drivers and team members to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Assist in cross-departmental projects and other duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
- A team-first attitude with a passion for helping others succeed.
- Previous experience in dispatch, scheduling, or transportation operations preferred.
- Comfortable using dispatch software and basic Microsoft Office programs.
- Be at least 25 years of age and speak/read/write in English.
- Possess a Commercial Driver License, Class A, or B, with a P Endorsement.
- Possess a valid DOT Medical Card.
- Strong analytical, conceptualization, interpretation, and critical thinking skills.
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency, and readily acclimates to an ever-changing environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the transportation industry.
- Minimum 1 year of dispatching experience.

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
