Company is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Logistics Driver
- Flatbed Tow Operator (Class
C) to be responsible for safe and accurate deliveries within the company network. We're looking for someone that holds a valid Class C driver's license. The ideal candidate for this role thrives in a customer service atmosphere and must have a clean driving record. As a Logistics Flatbed Tow Operator, you will be responsible for properly recovering company vehicles on public roads when the need arises.
You will be responsible for assisting in the transition towards being a more production-ready company.
As a Logistics Driver, you'll:
- Operate and safely conduct recovery tasks on public roads.
- Pull a combined gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds; the current flatbed equipment gross vehicle weight rating is at 20,000 pounds.
- Ensure goods are transported and secured in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of company materials, vehicles, and trailers.
- Comply with all applicable DOT regulations.
- Timely and effective communication with dispatch and ground support is a must.
- Operate flatbed towing equipment, to include winching procedures.
- Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs, including hours of service.
- Maintain and service vehicles as needed (refuel, change oil, check tire pressure, make repairs, etc.).
- Collaborate with the logistics and cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide a great customer experience.
