Role Description This full-time opportunity for overtime, on-site Non CDL Driver role is based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Non CDL Driver will transport tools, equipment, and materials safely between project sites, yards, and vendors, following all traffic laws and company safety procedures. Daily tasks include loading and unloading vehicles, securing loads, performing basic vehicle inspections, and reporting maintenance needs.
The driver will coordinate with site supervisors and project managers on delivery schedules, assist crews with material handling when needed, and complete required logs and documentation. The role may also include supporting general site operations, adhering to strict safety standards, and representing the company professionally with clients and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven ability to operate light- and medium-duty company vehicles safely.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle inspections, routine maintenance reporting, and safe loading and unloading practices.
- Familiarity with construction or demolition job sites, including awareness of safety protocols and personal protective equipment usage.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials and equipment, work outdoors in varying conditions, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Strong reliability, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with field crews.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous experience as a delivery driver, utility worker, or construction helper is beneficial.
- Comfort working in an environment with heavy machinery, debris, and noise; commitment to safety and compliance with company policies.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to pass a drug screen.
- Needs to be comfortable driving a dump trailer or equipment trailer loaded with small to medium size construction equipment or materials.
