Job Summary:
A delivery driver safely transports goods from a business or warehouse tohomes/offices or other locations. They plan routes, load and unload cargo, and provide great customer service. Drivers must follow traffic laws and have a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities Plan routes and follow time schedules using a GPS.Load and unload packages safely using dollies or hand trucks.
Inspect delivery vehicles for maintenance needs.
Obtain signatures and handle customer payments or returns.
Report delays, accidents, or damaged items to dispatch.
Received and inspect kitchen delivery following FIFO (First In First Out)
Skills & Requirements Valid driver's license (CDL may be required for large trucks).Clean driving record with no moving violations.
Physical stamina to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and climb stairs.
Time management to ensure fast, on-time deliveries.
