Local Driver - Straight AUS

We are looking for a full-time local driver for our Austin location.

Must have a Class B license

This is a company employee position

Driver will be driving a company vehicle

All local workESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely pick up and deliver freight on-time within local area.

Responsible for safely operating a company vehicle in the transportation of FAK over the road, while verifying loads for accuracy.

Ability to work with assigned routes.

Ability to adapt dispatch should there be a change in route.

Maintain effective communication with dispatch team to ensure freight is delivered safely and on-time, or of any unforeseen issues that may arise during transport.

Perform thorough and accurate pre and post trip inspections on vehicles and report any issues.

Safely and efficiently operate lift equipment, for loading and unloading duties.

Complete and verify all required backup paperwork (bills, HAZMAT, POD, manifests, etc.) are in order and dually delivered to the right personnel member, whether shipper, consignee, or Energy agent.

Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Adhere to company, federal, state and local laws, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) HOS regulations.

Any other duties as assigned.

Minimum 2 years of experience

Must be 23 years of age Hazmat endorsement preferredCSA:
Score must be less than 28 to meet Energy safety records
