Route Driver – Micromarket (Full Time)

We are hiring immediately for full time Route Driver – Micromarket positions.

  Full time. Days may vary, 5:00 am to 4:00 pm. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement:
  Previous route driving experience preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $21.25 per hour.
• Internal employee referral bonus available.
• All Canteen driving roles may include commission eligibility.

The Route Driver drives a company vehicle on a set route to deliver products and maintain micro markets. The driver is the face of Canteen, representing the company professionally and fostering client and customer relationships. The position offers advancement opportunities for interested candidates.

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro markets.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in all aspects of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and administer them as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro markets and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets; report defective equipment to maintenance personnel.
• Prior to each route, ensure that the truck is loaded with all required product for scheduled markets.
• Inform clients and customers of new products or services; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales‑promotion displays or issue sales‑promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, and cash.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with district procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform all job functions safely and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years of driving experience required.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of customer‑service experience or 1 year of related experience.
• Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Willingness to operate or learn material‑handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and manage the route unsupervised for 98% of the workday.
