AM Assistant Receiver

The Chefs' Warehouse -  - Responsibilities:
Support receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and supporting program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.;
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system.;
Maintain warehouse condition by planning layouts, inspecting equipment, and issuing repair/replacement work orders.;
Ensure warehouse cleanliness and compliance with AIB and NFS standards.;
Assist with timely receiving and put-away to maintain accurate inventory.;
Ensure OSHA safety compliance and company safety requirements.;
Cover other warehouse areas as needed and support day-to-day operations when the day manager is unavailable.;
Record and report discrepancies to AP, Purchasing, and Operations Management.;
Schedule inbound trucks and ensure product integrity and proper receiving entries per purchase orders.;
Monitor product levels and rotation; stock and locate inbound product.;
Support other warehouse functions and sanitation throughout the warehouse.;
Complete daily tasks and report receiving documents to AP and Operations Manager.;
Process lumping checks and forward to accounting.;
Perform any other assigned tasks.
