Job OverviewFresh Texas is hiring an experienced Shipping Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the daily shipments and warehouse activities. The goal is to accurately count and ship finished goods to the customer to ensure smooth and consistent operation. This individual will ensure parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
Job Duties- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, communication and assuring quality of finished product.
- Perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment of finished goods and receipt of materials and supplies.
- Check goods against shipping documents and authorizations.
- Verify identification and quality of product, prepare bills of lading and shipping instructions, verify trucks are at the correct loading temperature and load shipment onto trucks.
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
- Manage and maintain proper inventory workflow following FIFO procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
- Maintain and develop new ideas for cost saving initiatives.
- Follow all OSHA required and Fresh Texas Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure all GMP’s are followed throughout the facilities.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.
- Perform cycle counts as needed per management.
- Must be forklift and pallet jack certified per OSHA standards (all new hires will undergo certification at Fresh Texas as part of onboarding process).
- Must be able to perform cycle counts and be proficient in mathematical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, written and oral.
- Must work well in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

- Graduation from high school or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable forklift / heavy lift equipment experience.
- General knowledge with Excel and MS Office.
- Proficient in math skills.
- The employee is regularly required to sit while operating lift equipment or walk while operating pallet jacks; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear.
- Employee is exposed to extreme cold temperatures and moderate noise levels on a regular basis.
- The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
