About Zipline

Zipline is the world's largest and most experienced drone delivery service. We are on a mission to serve all humans equally by ensuring access to food, medicine and essential goods anytime, anywhere. We design, build, and operate the world's largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably. Today, Zipline operates on four continents, makes a delivery somewhere in the world every 30 seconds, and has completed millions of deliveries to date, including blood, vaccines, medical supplies, food, and retail products.

Our customers include the world's largest and most prominent healthcare systems, governments, retailers, restaurants and global businesses who rely on us to save lives, reduce emissions, increase economic opportunity, and provide delivery from point A to point B as fast as possible. The drone is only 15% of what we've built to enable seamless, reliable, global operations.

Our system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back. With more than 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown, Zipline is redefining access to healthcare, consumer products, and food across the globe.

We operate at a global scale and are looking for practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth. Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people's lives and by scaling the future of logistics. We are seeking people who sculpt from first principles, enjoy facing adversity, and can do the impossible at record breaking speeds.

About

You and

The Role

Zipline's Operations team is looking for a motivated and experienced Fulfillment Supervisor to support our fulfillment operations across the greater Austin area.

You thrive in fast-paced, hands‑on environments and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help your team succeed. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day fulfillment operations of three to five charging sites, ensuring each location operates safely, efficiently, and consistently.

You will lead Fulfillment Operators across multiple locations, manage staffing and labor needs, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to improve our processes and customer experience.

This is an onsite role. Candidates must live in the greater Austin area and be willing to travel throughout the metro area as operational needs require.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and support a high‑performing team of Fulfillment Operators across three to five sites.
  • Build a strong safety culture and ensure team members consistently follow operational procedures and workplace standards.
  • Own daily fulfillment operations, ensuring each site runs safely, efficiently, and reliably.
  • Partner closely with Flight Operations, Customer Operations, and other cross‑functional teams to coordinate daily priorities and resolve operational issues.
  • Create and maintain team schedules while managing staffing levels, attendance, overtime, and the assigned labor budget.
  • Monitor site performance and hold the team accountable for achieving key operational metrics.
  • Ensure customers receive the best possible experience with every order by maintaining strong order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and service quality.
  • Use operational data to identify performance gaps, bottlenecks, and areas of inefficiency.
  • Design and execute process‑improvement projects that strengthen safety, productivity, quality, and the employee experience.
  • Respond quickly to unexpected challenges, adjust staffing or priorities as needed, and communicate changes clearly to the team.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and operationally ready work areas across all assigned sites.
  • Develop team members through regular feedback, coaching, recognition, and performance management.
What You'll Bring
  • At least two years of experience in operations, warehouse logistics, retail management, fulfillment, distribution, or a related field.
  • Previous experience leading frontline employees in a fast‑paced, physically active environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple locations, competing priorities, and changing operational needs.
  • A self‑motivated and positive approach, with a willingness to work alongside the team when needed.
  • Experience using performance data to make decisions and improve operational results.
  • Comfort managing schedules, labor costs, attendance, and employee performance.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between assigned locations.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and employment eligibility verification.
