Support Staff Substitute

Non-Teaching Support Staff Substitute

Accepting or declining assignments is at your discretion without prejudice.

Classified substitutes are enrolled in the State Employee Retirement System (SERS).

Hourly sub rate of $11.70 per hour.

• Classroom Teacher Assistant
• Child Specific (work one-on-one with a student with disabilities)
• Library Aide
• Lunch/Recess Monitor
• Office Assistant
• School Bus Aide (requires additional training before accepting the assignment)

• Prior experience in educational support preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Computer knowledge and possess basic academic skills.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Physically capable of performing all job duties that may include, but are not limited to: standing, stooping, and stretching.
• Good character, courtesy, efficiency, cleanliness, and commitment to the welfare of the students.

• Current favorable BCII (State) and FBI (Federal) background checks.
• Ohio Educational Aide Permit (required to work with students).
• Negative drug screen.
