Science Teacher

AEA transfer requests, via internal application, will be accepted until 2:00 pm on 6/28/26.

Salary: In accordance with the AEA Negotiated Salary Schedule

Reports to: Building Principal, Director of Pupil and Staff Services, and/or Superintendent

• Valid Ohio Teaching License: (7-12) Science; (K-12) Designated Subject:
  Science
• Experience in the teaching area preferred
• Duties/Responsibilities in accordance with Ohio Department of Education Standards
• Performance will be evaluated using OTES 2.0 Framework

• Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures
• Follow and execute the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Building Principal, Director of Pupil and Staff Services, and/or Superintendent

• Appropriate and valid Ohio teaching credential
• Current favorable State and Federal background checks
• Official Sealed Transcripts

Employees must follow all board policies, all state and federal laws, and the Ohio Code of Ethics as established by the Ohio Department of Education. The successful candidate must complete all mandatory compliance courses assigned by the administration annually.
