About the Program:
The Master of Science in School Counseling includes coursework and experiences designed to meet the competencies required for the California Pupil Personnel Services Credential. This credential authorizes the holder to function as a school counselor in grades K through 12. Applicant must apply for the Master of Science in School Counseling and the California Pupil Personnel Services Credential.

About the Position:
The Department of Educational Leadership and School Counseling and Psychology is seeking lecturers to teach and/or supervise in its new MS in School Counseling (with Pupil Personnel Services Credential). The lecturer should possess extensive knowledge in the field of school counseling along with behaviors of advocacy and leadership necessary to increase access and equity in educational systems for all PK-12 students.

The lecturer must hold at minimum a Master's degree in School Counseling or in a related field. An earned doctorate in counselor education with a preferred specialization in school counseling or in a related field of study from a CACREP or CACREP-like program is preferred.

The lecturer must hold a school counseling credential with at least two years of experience as a professional school counselor or educational leader in a K-12 school setting. The lecturer must have a strong framework and commitment to work towards equity and social justice in schools and…
