The Martin V. Faculty members in the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics follow a teacher/scholar model in accordance with AACSB standards.
The MVS School of Business and Economics seeks a pool of qualified applicants for possible temporary, part-time teaching of accounting classes. These positions are filled on an as-needed basis and recruitment is ongoing. Assignments include in-person and synchronous online courses, during the day and evening.
Minimum Degree Requirements: MS in accountancy with active professional and industry experience or a PhD in Accountancy.
Required Qualifications:
The minimum degree requirements. Applicants should demonstrate the commitment to effectively work with and engage a diverse student population and evidence of how they would successfully mentor minoritized students with special focus on Latinx, Black/African American, American Indian, and Asian/Asian American/Pacific Islander students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience in accounting. PhD in accountancy. 5+ years full-time work in accounting.
Responsibilities:
Teach one or more classes as assigned and as student demand requires. Conduct and turn in assessment activities as outlined each semester.
