To be a professional mover, you must be energetic, dependable, and reliable with a strong work ethic in order to provide a superior level of customer service to our customers at all times. As a mover, you will have a partner for every job and together provide a world class customer service experience in the handling of each customer and their possessions.

This position provides a unique opportunity for those looking to combine general labor with problem solving and customer service talents.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service as you pack, handle, and move customer's possessions as if they were your own.
• Carefully load and unload trucks, safely and efficiently.
• Greet each customer upon arriving at the specified location and complete a walk-through of the premises.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Drive/operate company trucks/equipment safely.
• Complete truck inspections and inventory moving equipment.
• Accurately complete paperwork and payment collection

Candidate Requirements Because moving can be stressful, our employees must have a commitment to outstanding customer service, pride in a job well-done and an appreciation for variety every day at work!

• 18 years of age or older.
• Team player committed to getting the job done even if it means putting in longer hours.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High moral character.
• Positive attitude and a professional demeanor.
• Strong logic and mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers and decimals and be able to perform these operations using units of dollars, weight measurement, volume, distance and time).
• Stamina to lift heavy items (75 pounds or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, and avoiding obstacles.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Demonstrated experience in the moving/relocation industry is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
