** What You’ll Do
*** Lead inventory and direct materials purchasing for the assigned plant location
* Source suppliers, negotiate pricing, and drive cost reduction initiatives
* Place, enter, and maintain purchase orders within the ERP/MRP system
* Administer Kanban orders for both inventory and MRO purchasing
* Monitor supplier performance, maintain accurate data, and support supplier scorecards
* Track deliveries, expedite or de-expedite orders, and resolve delivery issues
* Coordinate Vendor Corrective Action Requests (VCARs)
* Arrange returns for rejected or excess materials
* Support forecasting, inventory management, and both strategic and tactical purchasing activities
* Improve and streamline purchasing and data entry processes
* Perform other duties as assigned
** What You’ll Need
*** Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Sourcing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
* Minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of purchasing processes and data entry
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (Infor/XA preferred)
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
* Adobe knowledge is a plus
* D365 experience preferred
* Ability to analyze data and implement strategies aligned with business goals
* Strong organizational skills and follow-through on tasks
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
