You verify dimensions, catch a subtle color variance, adjust packaging, scan inventory, and keep a customer’s line running on time. That’s impact.

Role Mission

Ensure plastic parts from injection molding and secondary assembly leave our facility exactly as the customer specified—no surprises.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Know the standard:
    Review specs, work instructions, and packaging details before you ever press “start.” Ask questions when anything is unclear.
  • Finish with finesse:
    Trim runners and complete simple secondary ops like basic welds or insert placement.
  • Inspect with intent:
    Perform visual checks and use measuring equipment to validate conformance.
  • Move product accurately:
    Swap full containers, label correctly, and use an RF scan gun to disposition parts into inventory.
  • Package to perfection:
    Count, weigh, and sort parts with sample or counter scales; follow customer packaging standards precisely.
  • Back up quality:
    Assist with online and offline quality sorts.
  • Run the system:
    Use IQMS to label/package parts, prep upcoming jobs, enter rejects, confirm counts, locate raw materials, sub‑components, and packaging, account for finished goods, and transact inventory movements.
  • Document and close:
    Record rejects, complete end‑of‑run verification, and log shift counts. Set up and tear down cells per standard work.
  • Own your space:
    Keep the area clean and organized. Call out mold, machine, or safety issues immediately. Be present and punctual. Help where needed.
Schedule Options
  • Mon–Fri
  • 2nd Shift: 4:00 pm–12:30 am
  • 3rd Shift: 12:00 am–8:30 am

What You’ll Need to Bring
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1–3 years’ related experience preferred; manufacturing or plastics background preferred
  • Comfort reading/writing simple instructions and speaking clearly in small groups
  • Math fluency with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and handle problems with multiple concrete variables in standardized scenarios
  • Computer familiarity;
    Word, Excel, Access preferred; proficiency using IQMS (ERP) for transactions

Physical Expectations
  • Frequent standing and walking

  • Vision needs: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
