Watteredge is looking for a dependable and motivated Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in Avon Lake. This hands‑on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment, takes pride in quality work, and is willing to learn.
What You’ll Do- Operate and assist with production machinery and equipment.
- Perform assembly, fabrication, finishing, and other production tasks.
- Read and follow work instructions, job travelers, and production documentation.
- Use hand tools and basic measuring equipment as required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Handle and move materials throughout the production area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with team members, leads, and supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but we are willing to train.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production work.
