Facility Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Minimum Requirements are listed below:

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be dependable and on time
• Own means of dependable transportation
• Provide some personal tools; list available on request
• 2 years minimum experience in a petro/chemical industry
• Must be able to work in adverse/inclement weather conditions
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot and make a good decision to fix the problem
• Must be able to read a tape measure and work with precision measuring instruments

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and installation on process plant equipment such as pumps, motors, gear drives, centrifuges, and other rotating equipment, emphasizing seals, bearings, and mechanical seals
• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on rotary screw air compressors
• Remove and install process valves
• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on steam boilers and auxiliary equipment
• Execute metal fabrication tasks
• Install and fabricate process piping systems, including threading, welding, and soldering
• Interpret P&
• Electrical skills are a plus
• When instructed, clean, paint, and perform labor work
• Perform additional work related to buildings and ground maintenance
• Local travel required

Pay Transparency:

Base pay range is $43,100.00 – $57,400.00 USD for the primary location.
