Middle School Math Teacher

The School Board of Highlands County is seeking a teacher. The position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution as determined by the Florida Department of Education and certification by the State of Florida in the appropriate subject area. The candidate must also pass a criminal history records check and drug screening. The teacher will be responsible for developing long- and short-term plans based on student needs, preparing lessons and instructional strategies, creating a positive and organized learning environment, and managing time and materials effectively.

The teacher will also be expected to engage in continuing improvement of professional knowledge and skills, act in a professional and ethical manner, and support school improvement initiatives.
