Job Description:

Full-time, year-round position in a goal-oriented environment that proactively provides marketing and outreach strategies for the CCE Trades programs and courses to local businesses and companies. Typical work schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as CCE business liaison, exhibiting good communication skills and maintaining a friendly, professional attitude to all college personnel, community resources, customers, prospective students, students, and guests of the college.
  • Responds to inbound calls and emails in a timely and professional manner. Provides front-line customer service by assisting walk-in students and business partners.
  • Maintains current knowledge of all CCE course offerings, providing information to customers, students, faculty and staff. Ensures students complete all prerequisite requirements prior to enrolling. Assists students in navigating college and program enrollment process.
  • Collaborates with director to plan and develop outreach strategies that will increase the usage rate and revenue of corporate education training courses.
  • Responsible for completing the initial evaluation of all new adjunct faculty during the first teaching term and annual evaluation each academic year thereafter, as determined by dean.
  • Proactively targets new businesses via: general inbound calls; outbound cold calling; electronic messaging; and community networking and face-to-face business meetings.
  • Works with director to determine quarterly business contacts and training course revenue goals.
  • Works with director to maintain customer/student records, and to provide training to instructors on required clerical duties.
  • Assists with planning of the annual CCE Advisory Committee meeting.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate and appropriate files in accordance with FERPA, course approvals, and instructor contracts, compiles data, and prepares reports as required.
  • Assists in the planning and day-to-day operations of all CCE classes and activities.
  • Assists with preparation, registration and billing of CCE course offerings; calculates potential course revenue and expense estimates and assists with other bookkeeping duties as assigned.
  • Develops and maintains an electronic waitlist and prospect database. Conducts timely follow up with prospective students, enrollment requirements, registration status, and upcoming course offerings.
  • Collaborates with the CCE director and coordinator on marketing efforts.
  • Monitors and reports on course enrollment numbers and provides relevant management information to director.
  • Responsible for Outlook calendars listing all CCE workshops, courses, events and room requests for classrooms designated for CCE.
  • Coordinates the preparation of CCE workshops, courses and events to provide direct support to director, instructors, staff, and students concerning registration, setup, organization and operations, as well as, requires coordination of adjunct instructors.
  • Accurately enters, updates, and maintains student course, instructor, and program information in the College's student information system and other required state, federal, and third-party reporting systems.
  • Identifies operational issues, enrollment concerns, scheduling conflicts, compliance risks, customer service concerns, or other potential challenges and promptly communicates recommendations and areas of concerns to the director.
