Licensed Practical Nurse- Night Shift

Overview

Centurion is the provider of medical and mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Avon Park Correctional Institution in Avon Park, Florida.

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses (RNs) and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Full-Time Night shift; 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends. PRN available.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Active CPR certification (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
