Oversee daily theater production operations
Support front of house event operations
Serve as manager on duty for Vilar events as scheduled
Act as crew chief for all load-ins/outs and supervise on-stage work
Advance all incoming events for labor and technical production needs
Advance show and event parking needs and coordinate with venues resort partners
Schedule crew/labor for all Vilar events, workshops and activations
Coordinate show needs with other Vilar departments including Hospitality, Artist Services, Facility Management, Food and Beverage and House Management
Schedule independent contractors such as backline rental, piano tuning and service for specialized production equipment
Supervise safe concert load in operations including fly system operation, truck loading, Pit changeovers, and any production related work on stage.
Lead production and back of house staff/crew in training and execution related to the Emergency Operations Plan.
Attend Career fairs and support on other initiatives to increase the technical arts education in the community.

GRFA Production Responsibilities

Advance production needs as needed with artist/tour
Schedule crew and act as crew chief for all load-ins/outs and supervise on-stage work
Provide venue & operations support as needed
Provide additional load-in, venue support days and supplemental production management as needed (i.e. Bravo! Vail, AEG in Ford Park, etc.)

General Administration, Management, Budgeting & Forecasting

Determine anticipated budget needs for all production lines.
Operate and lead in a manner that meets or beats budgeted expense across production-managed lines.
Manage production department accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, COI requests and general production department administration
Manage vendor relationships and agreements
Manage payroll needs, including settlement reports
Manage production budget lines and expense reconciliation accurately and in a timely manner
Hire and train new production staff
Address HR-related issues
Manage payroll for PT production staff
Ensure crew safety
Ensure that all hired crew and technicians are properly trained and up to date on any required certifications to operate theatrical equipment. For example, fly system & rigging, forklift, etc.
Consult and provide project management for select capital improvements
Other duties, as assigned

A Successful Candidate Should Possess

A minimum of 3-5 years working in theater/concert production, event planning, venue operations, project management, and/or hospitality.
Experience with the performing arts and/or performing arts venues highly desirable
Strong leadership, initiative, and interpersonal skills; a proven track record for building, motivating and leading teams; a great team player that is proficient at supervising or executing as the situation requires.
Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, and in security or emergency-related situations
Ability to create a work environment conducive to teamwork, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond to accomplish the end product.
Excellent management and organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with flexibility, the capacity to generate innovative solutions and strategies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,…
