As a Guest Environment Expert at Marriott, you create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that elevates every guest stay. You will thoroughly clean and reset guest rooms and public spaces, replenish amenities, and ensure all areas meet Marriott's brand standards for cleanliness and presentation. Working within the Housekeeping & Travel team, you'll follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols, use cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly, and promptly report maintenance issues.

Responsibilities
- Clean and reset guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and living areas, to Marriott brand standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Replenish linens, towels, guest amenities, and supplies as needed.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Inspect rooms and areas for maintenance or safety issues and report them promptly.
- Respond to guest requests and service needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
- Handle lost and found items according to company policy.
- Work efficiently to meet daily room and task assignments and productivity goals.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front office teams to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold Marriott's people-first culture, demonstrating respect, reliability, and commitment to service.
Required Skills
- Guest room cleaning and sanitation
- Use of housekeeping tools and equipment (vacuums, carts, etc.)
- Safe handling and dilution of cleaning chemicals
- Time management and task prioritization
- Basic inventory and supply tracking
- Attention to detail in inspections and room readiness
- Basic incident and maintenance reporting
- Understanding of safety and OSHA-aligned protocols
- Basic computer or mobile device use for room-status systems
- Customer service and guest communication
