Accounts Payable Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate accounts payable records, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment.
• Approve and enter accounts payable invoices into the accounting system.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendors and creditors.
• Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries.
• Process and enter checks and payment transactions into the system.
• Maintain accounts payable files and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and distribute accounts payable reports as required.
• Assist with accounts receivable functions and special projects as needed.
• Support the accounting team with additional administrative and clerical duties.

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or related accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
