About Us
We are a rapidly growing, women owned, CPA firm located in Avon, CT.
We are seeking a detail-oriented office assistant with strong customer service skills to assist clients by phone or in person, manage client information drop off/pick up, route information to appropriate staff within the office, daily mail processing, filing, copying, mass mailings, and other projects as assigned. Ability to track multiple ongoing projects and follow up accordingly is a must. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8:30 – 5:30.
Saturday hours of 9 – 2 are required between February 7 – April 11, 2026. The start date for this position is January 26, 2026. Working knowledge of Office 365 is required. Prior experience in a CPA firm is helpful, but not required. Off-season hours (April 16 – February
1) are Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for customer interactions.
- Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations is a plus.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards in all tasks performed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills as needed within the office setting.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. No visa sponsorship is available for this position.
Full Time Position Bonus & Overtime Pay available during busy seasonPay: $17.50 – $19.50 per hour
