Position: Administrative Assistant II Long Term Substitute

Qualifications: High school graduate with three (3) years experience and/or training in clerical office work; thorough knowledge of office procedures and ability to follow complex oral and written directions; considerable skill in operating computers; ability to work on a variety of tasks at the same time while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality; ability to deal courteously and patiently with students in a school setting.

Responsibilities: Clerical functions; secretarial work of a complex nature; and responsibilities requiring initiative and independent judgment as shall be assigned.

Terms of Employment: Position to start on or about October 19, 2026 and end on or about December 23, 2026.37.5 hours per week, hourly wages and benefits in accordance with the Agreement Between the Avon Board of Education and American Federation of Teachers - AFT CT
