The Farmington Academy, Inc. is looking for a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our K-8 team in Avon, CT! This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners and foster a love of language and culture from the earliest grades through middle school. The position is part-time with approx. 18 to 20 hours per week from September through end of May.

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language instruction for students in grades K-8
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school's Spanish curriculum
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of elementary and middle school students
• Incorporate cultural education and immersive activities to enrich Spanish language learning
• Write two conference reports each year per student (November and May)

• Experience teaching Spanish (as spoken in Spain) preferred
• Native or near-native Spanish language proficiency
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage K-8 learners
• Passion for language education and multicultural awareness
