Plant Controller

Position Overview

LightERA is hiring a Plant Controller to support our manufacturing operations in Avon, CT and Somerset, NJ. The role includes managing day‑to‑day accounting functions, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, reporting, and operational improvement initiatives.

• Prepare and coordinate financial reports; analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and coordinate annual budgets, process budgets, and create financial forecasts for the region.
• Implement and enforce financial systems, policies, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work with operations teams to resolve financial issues and drive profitability and cash‑flow improvements.
• Recruit, coach, and develop financial support staff.
• Collaborate with internal audit and external auditors to implement recommendations and loss‑prevention measures.
• Assist management with short‑ and long‑term financial goals and strategies.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience.
• Background in a manufacturing environment.
• Significant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and management.
• CMA or CPA desired.
• Working knowledge of JDE and/or SAP systems.
