Patient Scheduler - Oncology

Hartford Healthcare -  -  - Responsibilities:
Schedule and reschedule departmental treatments according to modality protocols and patient care requirements.;
Confirm completion and accuracy of provider orders and communicate discrepancies.;
Verify patient information, consent for treatment, insurance details, and schedule education and other appointments; update demographics/payer information; call patients to schedule.;
Coordinate multidisciplinary and interdepartmental appointments with nursing (cardiology, radiation oncology, BMT, radiology).;
Provide office support; act as point of contact; triage calls; arrange patient transport, equipment, referrals; resolve registration and billing issues.
