Oak Hill is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Residential Program Worker (RPW) to provide direct support to individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. This role offers the opportunity to make a life-changing impact while achieving professional growth and personal fulfillment. The RPW at Oak Hill’s Collinsville location works 15 hours/week, Mon-Fri 6:30am-9:30am. Responsibilities include providing personal care, domestic services, medical and vocational appointments, community activities, supervision, and other tasks based on individual goals. Applicants with no experience interested in entering the direct care field or seeking a career change are encouraged to apply.

This is a union position paying $18.50 – $19.40 per hour, depending on shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, record, and chart data to meet program policies, procedures, licensing, and certification regulations.
  • Maintain participants’ cleanliness, comfort, and well-being; assist with personal hygiene and develop self-help skills.
  • Prepare materials for program activities and projects.
  • Promote and assist with medication management, observe and report behavioral or health changes.
  • Apply Emergency First Aid and CPR procedures to protect participants and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies to protect participant information.
